~ Military and Weaponry Exhibits ~


The museum houses an extensive collection of military artifacts including many from the local Nez Perce War of 1877. Some of the artifacts in this collection include: uniforms from the Spanish-American War, World Wars I & II; Sharp’s Sporting rifle (1874); Springfield rifle (1863); Remington 12-gauge shotgun (1905); U.S. cavalry issue Colt .45 (1875); bayonets; knives; bullets; cavalry sword; samurai swords; a German flag from the Dachau concentration camp; gas masks; military documents; more.
